PlayStation and Xbox Showcase Games

The PlayStation showcase games will be released on Xbox, while 11 of the games presented in the Xbox Show Games will not be released on PlayStation. We have said it before, the PlayStation shockers were not that great. This year, we have Spider-Man 2 and Ma Vado, but I’m convinced that in a year when Zelda and Starfield come out, Spider-Man 2 can’t win the game of the year. I’m not doubting that the 50 minutes of Starfield gameplay were good, but I want to say that the recent past has taught us to evaluate a video game when it comes out.

Caution and Appreciation

We should be cautious and appreciate both. I personally promoted the PlayStation Shocker case and would assign it a 6.65. It is understandable that PlayStation users expected more from the Xbox game showcase. On the other hand, we have without a doubt one of the best events of the last 5 years. So from a certain point of view, I can understand why Xbox fans are excited and PlayStation fans are disappointed.

Sony’s Plans

In any case, we have to keep in mind that Sony probably has plans for the future.

One in Game pass

Microsoft’s Next Gen Games

Microsoft has yet to announce its first-party games, but it has made its offering clear in order to demonstrate that it is catching up. This event was certainly spectacular, and it is safe to say that everyone can agree on that. Microsoft presented 11 first-party games, some of which have already been given a launch window, such as Starfield and Forza Motorsport. Other games, such as Herblade 2, the 2024 update of Flight Simulator, and Obsidian’s new role-playing game Void, will be released next year.

Games Coming to Xbox

It is important to note that all of the games presented were next-gen, and some of them, such as Fable and Clockwork Revolution, have yet to be given a launch window. Additionally, there were a number of smaller titles, as well as games from partners that will be available on day one in Game Pass. Compared to the PlayStation Showcase, there was a stark difference, as almost all of the games presented in the PlayStation Showcase will also be available on Xbox, while 11 of the games will not be available on PlayStation.

Overall, Microsoft’s event was truly exceptional, and it is clear that the company is making a strong push for the next generation of gaming. With a number of first-party games, as well as titles from partners, Xbox users will have plenty of options to choose from.

One Game Pass: Microsoft’s Next Gen Console

Microsoft is making a move to take the lead in the gaming industry with their new One Game Pass. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, made a statement at the event wearing an Excem shirt, saying “No matter where you play, whether it’s on PC, Xbox, or the cloud, you are all welcome to the Xbox family.” This statement is a great way to bring gamers together and show that Xbox is a place for everyone.

The New Series S

In addition to the One Game Pass, Microsoft announced their new Series S console with a terabyte of storage. This is a great way to make sure that gamers can have the best experience possible. Not only does it provide gamers with the ability to play in the cloud, but it also provides them with the ability to play their favorite games on their own console.

Starfield Impression

The event also showcased 50 minutes of Starfield, a new game from Microsoft. While the game is still three months away from release, it looks like it will be a great game. It looks like it will be a game worthy of a Game of the Year award. It is a completely next-gen game, and not a remake or remaster.

Microsoft is making a big push into the next generation of gaming with their One Game Pass and Series S console. They are showing that they are serious about providing gamers with the best experience possible. With Starfield coming soon, it looks like Xbox is ready to take the lead in the gaming industry.
