Grand Theft Auto 6 Anticipation
The anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has been building for years, and the summer game Fest only added fuel to the fire. Fans were on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting a potential announcement. Unfortunately, the game that was revealed was not GTA 6, but Final Fantasy.
Rockstar’s Reveal
Rockstar Games has yet to reveal any information about GTA 6, and it’s unlikely that they will use a big-time gaming event to showcase the game. Insider Tom Henderson believes that Rockstar will reveal the game on their own time, with a simple post or hashtag on social media or their newswire.
The Disaster
The tornado that swept through sector zero, one and two caused a terrible disaster. Search and rescue operations are underway, and the wreckage of the expressway is a grim reminder of the destruction.
GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated upcoming releases, and fans are eagerly awaiting news from Rockstar Games. While it’s unlikely that the game will be revealed at a big-time gaming event, Rockstar may still surprise us with a simple post or hashtag on social media or their newswire.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Teased By Vinewood Motors
Vinewood Motors recently posted an idea on Twitter suggesting that the next Grand Theft Auto trailer be announced within Grand Theft Auto Online. The post included a picture of GTA 3 Definitive Edition with a billboard for Francis International Airport saying See You Soon with a fly US jet going above some palm trees, seemingly leaving Los Santos. This would be an exciting way to tease Grand Theft Auto 6, as many people would be online to watch the event.
Rockstar’s Tech Not Able To Support This
Unfortunately, Insider Test Funds 2 has reported that this idea is not going to happen. Grand Theft Auto 5’s tech can’t support this, as Red Dead Online has never been used to tease DLCs and titles. The best bet for Rockstar is to push a sudden Title Update, but they must ensure it goes through Microsoft and Sony certification and doesn’t cause any new bugs.
Grand Theft Auto 6: Could Rockstar Slip Clues Into GTA Online?
It is unlikely that Grand Theft Auto 5 has the tech to support this, but Red Dead Online does. The only way Rockstar could do this is if they literally made us download a new update, but with something like that, we would probably find out what it was and theres a good chance that it would have been spoiled. And you have to make sure that the update itself is certified by Microsoft and Sony.
Cross Promotion in Grand Theft Auto Online
I still believe there’s a chance that once Grand Theft Auto 6 is announced, Rockstar is going to be doing some cross promotion in Grand Theft Auto online. We saw that directly with Red Dead Redemption 2, where Rockstar had the double action revolver and the stone Hatchet, both items that you could find and unlock via a treasure hunt and online. That was directly given to you in Red Dead Redemption 2’s single player.
GTA 6 Hints and Clues in Upcoming DLC
The only problem with that is, I feel, like Rockstar obviously has to announce the game first. So in this upcoming DLC San Andreas mercenaries, in just a couple of days, don’t expect any GTA 6 hints or clues in there the Rockstar slip into the files. The game has got to be announced first, because data miners are going to find it. That would, of course, ruin the entire surprise for Rockstar, but of course, once Rockstar does just announce the game, then their full steam ahead, basically to do any of those cross promotional types of teases.
Data Miners Uncover Alien Gun Running Supply Mission
Rockstar Games have been known to slip things by data miners in the past, and it appears that they have done it again. A recent discovery by data miners has uncovered an alien gun running supply mission.
Rockstar’s Smart Move
The developers at Rockstar were smart in their approach to hiding the mission. Instead of using a string like “alien_mission”, they stripped each letter as a string. This meant that when data miners searched for the word “alien” within the scripts, they wouldn’t find any new results.
Risking it with GTA 6?
It’s unclear whether Rockstar would risk it with GTA 6, but if they did, they would have to go through many layers of protection to ensure that fans wouldn’t find out about the game. The second they do, the Rockstar surprise would be ruined and the news would be shared with everyone.
Trivial Things
An insider test fund 2 said that this method wouldn’t work on anything obvious, such as a new logo, texture, vehicle livery, or anything else that screams Vice City. Instead, it must be the most trivial things, like a white background texture in the files. Rockstar could then add text on that texture via scripting.
GTA 6 Clues in GTA 5 and GTA Online
Rockstar Games have yet to officially announce Grand Theft Auto 6, but there may already be clues hidden in GTA 5 and GTA Online that could hint at the game’s existence. While nothing is going to jump out in the wild like a Vice City livery or a new billboard, Rockstar have made subtle changes to the game in the past. For example, when they added the Contract DLC, they changed a lot of the billboards in the game for some of the new in-game radio stations.
Subtle Clues in GTA Games
It’s likely that Rockstar have made these clues as simple as possible, so that fans don’t figure out what it is. There are already a ton of clues in GTA 5 and GTA Online that we just haven’t realized yet. For example, in the Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto 3, there are images of a suburban Florida-style home. In Grand Theft Auto Online, there are various hints and clues that could be related to GTA 6, such as the arcade machine soundtrack for Race and Chase, called Vice Lights, which does sound like it could be the theme song for GTA 6.
Waiting for an Official Reveal
Until Rockstar officially reveals GTA 6, we can only speculate. Rockstar doesn’t have the capability to do it in GTA Online, and if they wanted to do it by packaging it in the game via a DLC, data miners would most likely find out about it and spoil the surprise. We will just have to wait and see for GTA 6’s official reveal.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Reveal
With the reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6 on the horizon, speculation is rampant as to how Rockstar Games will unveil the game. Will it be similar to the way they revealed Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, or will they go a different route?
Alien Egg and UFO Gun Running Mission
Some have suggested that Rockstar will go all out with an alien egg and UFO gun running mission, but this seems unlikely. Rockstar is not likely to risk something like that for the reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6.
