Rockstar Games Tunable Update
Recently, Rockstar Games released an update to their PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 which increased the tunable pool size from 2200 to 2500. This update was interesting as it came alongside an anti-cheat update. The tunable pool size dates back to Max Payne 3, and the variable name was changed to tunable pool with Grand Theft Auto 5’s release in 2013.
What Does This Mean?
The explanation for this update could be a combination of two things: preparation for the DLC, or anti-cheat related. This is because legitimate players were experiencing crashes due to the PC tunables firing off false positive reports.
The first option – preparation for the DLC – could mean that Rockstar are planning to do something that requires more tunables. This is like the light switches that they can flip on or off, and could mean that we’re getting something for free or that they’re going to be adding more discounts.
For those playing on PC, the safer the game is, the less false positives there will be, and the better the experience will be. There was more follow up to this, with someone saying that the tunable pool change is memory related, and is likely to do with being able to fit more tunables in memory for the future, such as DLC.
GTA Online 10th Anniversary Discounts
Rockstar is planning something special for the 10th anniversary of GTA Online. According to reports, they are planning to offer discounts on up to 300 different items. This would require an increase in the tunable memory pool size, as 300 more tunables would be added at once.
Alongside the discounts, Rockstar is also planning to introduce a marketing login reward stat from the Drug Wars update. This would likely result in tons of tunable variables being added to the game.
PC Version Changes
The PC version of the game is also receiving some changes. One of these changes is the anti-cheat Sig scanner, which is designed to make the game a lot safer. Rockstar is also removing some stuff from the bonus list whenever they add new ones, which could be due to the pool size.
San Andreas Mercenaries Update
As the new San Andreas mercenaries update arrives, Rockstar is giving away some free stuff. These could be time-sensitive bonuses or something exclusive for playing within the first couple of weeks of the update.
We will have to wait and see what Rockstar has in store for the 10th anniversary of GTA Online and the San Andreas mercenaries update.
Rockstar Doubles Down On San Andreas Mercenaries Update
Rockstar Games has released a tunables update for all platforms, likely in preparation for the upcoming San Andreas Mercenaries update on June 13th. Along with the update, Rockstar has announced a brand new event week to get players ready for the update.
Free Livery For The Mammoth Avenger
Players who play Grand Theft Auto Online anytime this week will unlock the Santo Capricorns Livery for the Mammoth Avenger for free. This stylish cosmetic upgrade will benefit the formidable military aircraft and floating base of operations heavily featured in the upcoming update.
New Party Shirts Available
Rockstar is also encouraging players to spice up their wardrobe by shopping for new party shirts, available at clothing boutiques city wide.
Double Money And RP On Flight School
To further get players ready for the San Andreas Mercenaries update, Rockstar is offering double money and RP on Flight School. This is similar to the exclusive Livery they gave away last week.

Drop Zone
Drop Zone is a high altitude adversary mode, where squads of dueling parachuters fling themselves through the air to take control of a patch of land, far below. Capture and secure the zone for two times money and RP.
Transform Races
Transform Races is a thrilling way to traverse land, sea and air while shape shifting between various vehicles. Boost and barrel roll your way through the finish line for triple rewards.
Vehicle Bonuses
At Simeon’s Premium Deluxe Showroom, there are five new cars available: the Dinka Blista Kanjo Compact, the Lampadati Novak SUV, the Pegassi Toros SUV, the Kennis Camacho Off Road and the Imponte Beater Dukes Muscle Car. Over at the Luxury Auto Showroom, you can also find a selection of vehicles.
Obey 8F Tractor Sports Car and Benefactor Slogan GT Sports Car
This week’s prize ride at the Los Santos Car Meet is the Dominator GTT, which can be won by placing in the top three. While there, you can also take a look at the test ride vehicles, such as the Vapid GB200 Lampadati Sin Quimilla and Annis Remus. At the Diamond Casino and Resort, you can spin and win the Zirconium Journey 2 Van.
Discounts and Bonuses
Hangar properties, as well as their upgrades and modifications, are 20% off. It is clear that the Hangar and Avenger are going to be a massive part of this update. Rockstar have also extended the GTA Plus benefits and bonuses period to June 12th. This is the final event week before the new DLC, so be sure to take advantage of it.
