Charging Case
The charging case measures six centimeters in length, four centimeters in height and two centimeters in thickness, with a weight of just 33 grams. The glossy plastic exterior includes a subtle Edifier logo engraving on the lid, but it has a tendency to attract dust and dirt. The case design thoughtfully integrates a USBC port at the rear, a flat bottom base, a reset button on the side and a single battery status LED at the front.
Audio Quality
Notably, the earbuds seamlessly pair and switch between each other while housed within the charging case. Thanks to the instant connection feature, eliminating reconnection delays, the TWS1 Pro 2 may not reach the highest volumes, but they offer a pleasing experience at around 50 volume.
Sound Quality
The Edifier TWS1 Pro 2 Earbuds offer a balanced sound profile, with a focus on mid-range and treble frequencies. Sub-bass and mid-bass are present but not overpowering, allowing the mid-range to remain prominent. At maximum volume (100), the bass recedes while the treble becomes harsher. Despite this, the audio experience remains enjoyable, though those seeking a heavier bass may find it lacking.
Active Noise Cancellation
The TWS1 Pro 2 Earbuds feature impressive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capabilities, especially considering their price point. ANC effectively reduces both low and high frequency noise, similar to the Neo Buds Pro’s. The ANC can be personalized with two settings and Wind Mode can be activated via the Edifier Connect app, allowing the earbuds to adapt to various environments. It is important to note that ANC requires both earbuds to be inserted and does not work with just one.
Call Quality
The TWS1 Pro 2 Earbuds excel in call quality, efficiently reducing background noise to ensure clear call clarity, even in noisy environments. User-friendly touch controls on the earbuds simplify navigation and adjustments during playback. Through the Edifier Connect app, users can customize EQ settings and choose from five modes: High ANC, Medium ANC, Wind Reduction, Ambient Sound and ANC Off. Direct control from the earbuds is limited to three modes. The app also offers battery monitoring, calming sounds, headphone location, wearing detection, toggling, prompt volume adjustment, power management, auto sleep mode, four preset sound modes, game mode activation and double tap and triple tap functions.
Battery Life
The TWS1 Pro 2 Earbuds boast an impressive battery life of up to 8 hours on a single charge. With the charging case, the total battery life can be extended up to 24 hours. The earbuds can be charged wirelessly or through the USB-C port on the charging case. The case itself can be recharged wirelessly or through a USB-C cable.

Disabling ANC offers 6 hours of usage with a total of 24 hours using the case. A quick 10 minute charge adds an extra hour, and charging takes approximately two hours for the earbuds and 1.5 hours for the case.
Latency
The Edifier TWS1 Pro 2 earbuds feature a low latency game mode that enhances the gaming experience. The latency is around 200 milliseconds, which is similar to that of the AAC codec. However, other Edifier earbuds, such as the TWS 330 Neo Buds Pro, Free Pro, and W240TN, offer even lower latency, at approximately 80 milliseconds.
Comparison
When compared to other Edifier earbuds, the TWS1 Pro 2 aligns with the Neo Buds Pro and W320TN as all three are active noise cancellation (ANC) earbuds with IP54 dust and sweat resistance. However, there are distinctions. The W320TN offers longer play time, at around 27 hours, larger drivers, at 13 millimeters, and LDAC support.
